Day 2 at LFW was spent meeting wonderful designers and their teams and buying for The Folly’s SS14 collection. We are thrilled to continue working with the fabulous Mawi and can’t wait for their stunning pieces to arrive in our hands. Watch out for their bright pinks and greens and gorgeous signature statements necklaces.
We are also thrilled to welcome 3 new designers to the world of The Folly, all of whom will be arriving next season ready for SS14.
Vicki Sarge, one part of ex-duo Erickson Beamon has gone solo and just launched VICKISARGE the brand. With pieces similar enough to Erickson Beamon, the brand feels somewhat familiar but definitely different enough to be a completely new and hugely exciting solo brand. With all new branding, a new flagship store and a fantastic debut collection, we couldn’t wait to meet her and make an order for SS14 at The Folly. Having already been snapped up by Net-a-Porter, Harvey Nichols and Harrods we are thrilled and proud to now stock them here at The Folly.
Halo & Co
A long established brial jewellery brand, Halo & Co are now rapidly entering the world of fashion costume jewellery. Their new collection featuring champaign and gold Swarovski crystals is perfect for The Folly brides looking for that special statement piece. We love their signature jewels clusters and are thrilled to have them on board.
Buba London’s jewellery is beaded heaven. We loved the bright colours and geometric shapes of Buba’s SS14 collection and went a bit mad ordering for The Folly Boutique. Watch out for some fantastic bib and collar necklaces with fab on trend colourways. This is a brand to watch!
Day 1 at London Fashion week was mainly spent in various seminars learning about strategic buying, SS14 trends and engaging with customers. We sat through some fabulous talks from various fashion genius’s and picked up loads of top tips for next seasons trends.
